By Tom Stoppard
Directed by John Hamilton
Winner of the 1968 Tony Award for Best Play, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead turns the spotlight on two minor characters from Shakespeare's Hamlet and gives them a story of their own. As they navigate a confusing world filled with riddles, mistaken identities, and philosophical puzzles, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern search for meaning while the events of Hamlet unfold around them.
Tom Stoppard’s celebrated tragicomedy is a clever, thought-provoking journey through fate, free will, and the absurdity of life. With razor-sharp dialogue and a balance of humor and depth, this modern masterpiece invites audiences to see a classic story from a whole new angle.
