Call for Directors: Gallery Theater’s

Director Development Program

Gallery Theater is now accepting applications for our 2026 Director Development Program. This opportunity is specifically for directors who do not currently meet the criteria to direct as part of the Main Season.

​

Eligible applicants may include:

• Individuals who are new to directing

• Directors who are new to Gallery Theater

• Directors who have worked with Gallery on one-acts, staged readings, or past projects but do not meet the requirements to direct a Main Season production at this time

 

Participants in this program will direct a piece in our 2026 One-Act Festival and receive mentorship and support throughout the process.

​

Rehearsals will take place in March, April, and early May 2026.
Performances are scheduled for May 15 through 24, 2026.

​

This program is focused on growth, collaboration, and preparing emerging directors for future opportunities within our season programming.

​

Applications are due by August 26, 2025.
